Rodon Biologics is a biotech CRO/CDMO operating for 20 years in the industry situated in the region of Lisbon, Portugal. We support recombinant protein biopharmaceutical programmes producing small amounts of product for early-stage research, through cell line and process development up to GMP production for clinical trials.

Rodon is seeking to hire a Research Scientist to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with a Biochemical degree (or equivalent), who's eager to support in scientific development programmes for our clients.

The scientist will support the practical activities for the development and execution of bioprocesses, including fermentation, purification, and analysis.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Planning and conducting experiments
• Recording and analysing data
• Presenting results to senior/other research staff
• Writing reports, reviews and summaries
• Ensuring that quality standards are met

Essential skills:

• Degree in Biochemical engineering or equivalent
• Training at least in one of this area: fermentation, purification and/or analysis
• Attention to detail, focus on the ongoing tasks
• Spoken and written fluency in English, other languages a plus
• A team player with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
